This gentalmen is a Schlegel Asity (Philepitta schlegeli). This is a very rare bird of Madagascar that keeps to subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

That face is pretty amazing, huh?

Status: No conservation concerns

Doesn’t it look like someone took a paint brush to this little guy? He’s called a Rainbow Grasshopper or Painted Grasshopper (Dactylotum bicolor).
